Just a quick update on the race we have planned for Madeline's first birthday, June 7, 2008. We are still trying to get sponsors and get some details worked out but we are looking forward to a great response. I am excited that we have been able to have this to focus on and honor Madeline's life in such a tangible way. We are praying that God blesses this event and uses it as He sees fit. It has been a lot of work and we have so many friends and family members to thank for their help. Without their support, none of this would be possible. I just had a chance to look at the foundation website and read your story... since I came in much later in your journey (after we found out about Maddox's condition in September), I didn't hear all of it like I did from the foundation site. Thank you for sharing your beautiful story... she is so incredibly amazing. I was thinking the other day, as you mentioned too that she was strong and fought hard, that Maddox did the same thing. Although we didn't have 12 hours, he made it through 8 months of pregnancy and the birthing process to meet us... such strong little ones. Praise the Lord that we were able to see their precious faces.
Thinking of you guys and praying for you and this 5K... It will be so wonderful!
